Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, maintain, and optimize SMT and AOI manufacturing processes.
- Create, validate, and continuously improve SMT and AOI machine programs.
- Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for quality and productivity improvements.
- Analyze production defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone (Ishikawa), and Pareto analysis.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process validation and industrialization.
- Define and maintain process parameters, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Yield, First Pass Yield (FPY), DPMO, and OEE.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, delivery, and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to operators, technicians, and production personnel.
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
- Support internal, customer, and certification audits.
- Ensure compliance with IPC standards, IATF 16949 requirements, and customer-specific requirements.
- Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow development and updates.
- Provide technical support for SMT and AOI equipment.
- Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment performance, uptime, and process capability.
- Support equipment upgrades, process modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
- Contribute to spare parts management and maintenance planning.
- Assist in commissioning and qualification of new equipment.
Ihr Profil
Education & Experience
English –advanced level (written and spoken); German language knowledge is an advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with SMT ASM equipment and AOI (VISCOM equipment knowledge is an advantage) processes.
- Automotive industry experience is considered an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes:
- Solder Paste Printing
- SPI (Solder Paste Inspection)
- Pick & Place ASM equipment
- Reflow Soldering
- AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) – VISCOM equipment knowledge is an advantage
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
- Understanding of process control and defect analysis.
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, FMEA, SPC).
- Ability to read and interpret electronic drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Attention to detail and quality-oriented approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Results-driven attitude and customer focus.
