This includes information such as your name, your address, your telephone number and your date of birth, but also data about your specific career, etc., which can be assigned to a specific person with reasonable effort. Information that is not (un)indirectly associated with your real identity, on the other hand, is not personal data.Principles and purposes for processing pbD in applications and in the application procedure
If you apply to us electronically, i.e. by e-mail or via our web form, we will collect and process your personal data for the purpose of processing the application procedure and carrying out pre-contractual measures.
By submitting an application on our recruiting page, you express your interest in taking up employment with us. In this context, you provide us with personal data which we use and store exclusively for the purpose of your job search/application.
In particular, the following data are collected:
- Name (first and last name)
- E-mail address
- Telephone number
- Availability status
- Salary expectation
You also have the option of uploading meaningful documents such as a cover letter, your CV and references. These may include further personal data such as date of birth, address etc.
Only authorised employees from the HR department or employees involved in the application process have access to your data.
Personal data is stored exclusively for the purpose of filling the vacant position for which you have applied.
Retention period of the data
If we are unable to make you a job offer, if you reject a job offer or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have provided on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) for up to 6 months from the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). The data will then be deleted or anonymised and the physical application documents destroyed. This storage serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is evident that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g. due to an impending or pending legal dispute), the data will only be deleted when the purpose for further storage no longer applies.
Longer storage may also take place if you have given your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or if legal storage obligations prevent deletion.
Admission to the applicant pool
If we do not make you a job offer, it may be possible to include you in our applicant pool. In the event of inclusion, all documents and details from the application will be transferred to the applicant pool in order to contact you in the event of suitable vacancies.
Inclusion in the applicant pool in order to identify any other interesting positions for you, this also applies, for example, to applications for training or internships, is based exclusively on your express consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Giving your consent is voluntary and is not related to the current application process. The person concerned can revoke his/her consent at any time. In this case, the data will be irrevocably deleted from the applicant pool, unless there are legal reasons for retention.
The data from the applicant pool will be irrevocably deleted no later than two years after consent has been given.

Access logs ("server logs")
With every access to this recruiting page, general log data, so-called server logs, are automatically recorded. These data are usually pseudonyms and therefore do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a natural person. Without this data, it would not be technically possible in some cases to deliver and display the contents of the software. In addition, the processing of this data is absolutely necessary for security reasons, in particular for access, input, transfer and storage control. Furthermore, the anonymous information can be used for statistical purposes and for optimising the offer and the technology. In addition, the log files can be subsequently checked and evaluated if there is suspicion of illegal use of the software. Data such as the domain name of the website, the web browser and web browser version, the operating system, the IP address and the time stamp of access to the software are generally recorded. The scope of this logging does not exceed the usual scope of any other website on the Internet. The storage period of these access logs is up to 7 days. There is no right of objection.
Error logs ("Error logs")
For the purpose of error identification and correction, so-called error logs are created. This is absolutely necessary in order to be able to react to possible problems in the presentation and implementation of content as promptly as possible (legitimate interest). These data are usually pseudonyms and therefore do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a natural person. The legal basis for this is found in § 15 para. 1 TMG as well as Art. 6. (1) f DS-GVO. When an error message occurs, general data such as the domain name of the website, the web browser and web browser version, the operating system, the IP address and the timestamp when the corresponding error message/specification occurred are recorded. The storage period of these error logs is up to 7 days. There is no right of objection.
